Lara is a freelance reporter focused on Middle East and North Africa coverage. She spent the past few years writing about Egypt’s financial crisis from Cairo and has on-the-ground experience reporting on Middle East economic and political developments. Prior to Cairo, she worked in London as a financial journalist. Lara holds a degree in Modern Languages & Cultures from the University of Durham.
